Got a question about buying Gold in SmallWorlds? Here are answers to the following questions:

•   What payment methods do you accept?
•   I bought a SmallWorlds Package but I don't see the Package in my inventory - what do I do?
•   I bought something from SmallWorlds but I don't see the products - what do I do?
•   My payment failed - What do I do?
•   My browser crashed or I received a 404 or other error while the payment was processing, how do I check if the payment went through?

What payment methods do you accept?

•   Paypal:  Use your existing PayPal account (you can link a bank account or credit card to your PayPal account - see www.paypal.com for details).
•   Credit Card Via PayPal:  You can use your credit card to pay through PayPal, even if you don't have a PayPal account.
•   Ultimate Game Card:  You can purchase an Ultimate Game Card in a wide range of stores such as Walmart & 7/11. Click here to find out where you can buy one. You can use your Ultimate Game Card just like you do a credit card.
•   UltimatePay:  UltimatePay features over 85 different payment methods from 190 countries.  You can use it to pay by mobile phone, credit card, even cash.  Click the UltimatePay link in the Payments page to see what methods are available for the country you live in.
•   Zong:  Pay from your mobile phone using the Zong service - the range of available products and local currency prices depends upon the country you live in - see http://zong.com/zong/coverage for more information.
•   Gold:  You can purchase SmallWorlds products using SmallWorlds Gold (click on the Get Gold link on your top toolbar to find all the ways you can earn Gold).
•   Hi5 Coins: If you joined SmallWorlds as a Hi5 player, you can purchase SmallWorlds products with your Hi5 coins.

I bought a SmallWorlds Package - but I don't see the Package in my inventory - what do I do?

•   The Package (e.g. Gamer Boy, Speed Racer) isn't actually an item - so it won't appear in your inventory - instead, you'll see the items contained in the package have been added to your inventory.
•   If you've successfully completed the purchase of a SmallWorlds Package, you'll be able to see it in your order history (click the Account button next to the logout button in the top right of your SmallWorlds window).
•   If you are sure you completed a transaction but can't see the items you bought, see below.

I bought something from SmallWorlds but I don't see the products - what do I do?

If you have:
•   Checked your account with your payment provider and are sure that your purchase was completed (for example, your credit card has been debited)
•   Bought items and you are sure you've completed a purchase, you've waited a few minutes and refreshed your inventory
•   Bought Gold, waited a few minutes and checked your Gold balance in the My Profile panel
•   Bought a VIP Membership and checked the My Profile panel (VIP icon should appear below your avatar) and the Account Information category of the Account panel ("VIP Club Member" should be visible in centre of the panel).

Then please contact our payments team.

•   Remember to provide us with the email address associated with your account, what you purchased, the date, time and timezone of the purchase and any transaction reference number that is on your statement.

My payment failed - What do I do?

•   Check your Paypal/ UltimatePay/ credit card balance - it may not have been sufficient to complete the purchase.
•   Contact the issuer of your credit card - your card may have expired.
•   If you are using a prepaid or Gift Card - call the issuer and ask them if this card can be used for online purchasing via UltimatePay and if so, are there any special requirements such as the registration of your address? They should tell you how to do this.
•   If you are using Zong - refer to the Zong Customer Support section for how to contact Zong customer support.

My browser crashed or I received a 404 or other error while the payment was processing, how do I check if the payment went through?

•   Log into Smallworlds and click on Account - is your SmallWorlds Gold or VIP Membership showing on your account page?
•   If not, the transaction didn't go through to SmallWorlds - check your UltimatePay account, your PayPal account or your credit card account.  If the payment was taken off your card or account, use our contact page to inform our Payments Team - remember to provide us with the email address associated with your account and any transaction reference number that is on your statement - we will make sure any product that you paid for is added to your SmallWorlds user account.
•   If you also provide the exact amount, date and time as it shows on your statement - and your location so we can match it to a timezone - it will help us help you more quickly.
