Fradulent Chargebacks
A fraudulent chargeback occurs when someone purchases products, receives these products in good order and then lays a false complaint with their credit card company. The credit card company issues a "chargeback" where they reverse the payment pending the outcome of any resulting dispute.
SmallWorlds takes fraudulent chargebacks very seriously and all cases will be disputed and the offender prosecuted to the maximum extent of the law. Our fraud prevention systems share information on fraudulent transactions and reduce the likelihood that misused cards will be accepted by other merchants. SmallWorlds uses CVV2 to validate your credit card and your IP address and network host are recorded when your order is placed. This information will be used to trace the order to the person(s) placing the order.
All information on fraudulent accounts and cards will be turned over to the authorities to assist in locating and prosecuting any and all guilty parties. Offenders may be subject to fines and imprisonment.
