Christmas Decorating

You'll never guess what I got for Christmas... a one-year VIP subscription.  W00T!   It's a whole new me. I've even got a fancy new skateboard!

I can't wait to give myself a full makeover, but until now I've been way too busy decorating my space for the Christmas competition.

I want to say a big Thank You to you guys who sent me presents for Christmas.  That was so nice of you!  I have to confess that I haven't opened them yet, because the wrapped gifts look so good in my space.  Is that bad?

I'm waiting until after the competition to open them... just in case I get shortlisted and the judges pay a visit.  Although after checking out the Forum Thread, I think it's pretty unlikely I'll get anywhere.  There are some amazing spaces in there!

I tried out a couple of new things in my space, like these Christmas decorations in my kitchen.  They don't look nearly as good as I hoped they would though.  

Maybe I should have gone with a NZ Christmas theme.  It's hot and sunny over here - real beach weather.  Our traditional Santa Claus wears red shorts and cooks sausages on the barbeque.  Now that would have been something different!  Why didn't I think of that before I started decorating? Oh well, too late now.
