Learning while Earning

Okay, so I REALLY want to get my levels up.  It's true that I just splashed out and bought some totally awesome new rocket boots (isn't it cool that you can see my rocket boots right through my dress?), but I'd just love a pair of wings - especially now that you can wear wings with the monthly collectible suit.  A golden tiger with wings would be wild!

To be able to wear a pair of wings, I need to get my levels up.  So I did the Phishing mission that's been added to the Featured mission list, and before that I did the Ovarian Cancer mission.  And it got me wondering.  What other missions could I do to learn about stuff I didn't know?

Here are a couple more 'learning' missions that I really enjoyed.  One thing I've really learned this week - there are millions of missions out there, and some of them are really fun! 

Rescue Me Pet Shelter Volunteer

I became a volunteer for a day at the Rescue Me Pet Shelter.  It was hard work looking after the dogs, but I learned lots about being responsible when it comes to pet ownership.  I think that Jilly Silly who created this mission will be very pleased to know that Bomber is neutered!

This mission was really easy, and I thought it was well-made.  It took me 9 minutes to do, and I earned 46 Social XP - in fact, when I finished it I hit Level 20! W00t.

Learn How to Draw Like a Pro!

I saw the Learn How to Draw Like a Pro mission by Rachel Gdfry and just couldn't resist doing it.  My drawing skills are pretty shocking, so I need all the help I can get!

If you're like me and don't know how to draw and paint, you should really give this mission a go. I think it helped me a lot. There are three great videos on the TV to show you how to draw, and Rachel has provided a Graffiti Board for you to learn on. She teaches you about shading, color and shapes.

One of the great things about doing this mission is that not only are you earning Artist XP by completing the mission, but you earn even more while you're practicing on the Graffiti Board, and you earn Explorer XP for watching the videos.

Rachel has many more missions at her place including some that will teach you more about art and help you earn more Artist XP. Thanks, Rachel - I know I'll be back!
