A Beary Exciting Day
While spending some time saving turtles at the Conservation Cove, I came across a curious sight. An aging bear was sitting with little bear cubs in front of a photo album.
Being the investigative reporter that I am, I hid behind a tree and recorded the conversation. Using Google Translate, I am now able to share it with you.
Note: Bear grammar is very different from what we know. I tried to stick to the original grammar as much as I could to keep things genuine.
"Bear have famous once. Two leggeds come from away the country to see bear.
Bear tell about beary exciting day to cubs...
Start usual. Get up, stretch, look foods. Is here bear doing poop from day before. Poop look and smell like chicken!
Eat yummy bearys and drink red clown makeup from pond [Alfalfa notes: Google Translate wasn't clear about the 'red clown makeup'. It was either that or 'he who tames wild seahorses'. It remains unclear what the bear was actually drinking from the pond].
Now was time to mark territory. RAWR!
Want eat again, so go looking foods. Maybe two leggeds leave foods in back. Rummage trash but nothing. Want nap.

Emily Goodenough's A Beary Exciting Day is told from the point of view of a bear. This surreal and original work is based on a true story but is spruced up with imaginary and hilarious bear routine. Now with two bonus missions, you're guaranteed not only a GOOD laugh, but also plenty of xp and tokens!
And in case you are intimidated by bear grammar, I assure you that Emily, our very own SmallWorlds animal whisperer, did a much better job than me translating bear into English.
