Hot Rod Scooter

Greetings citizens. I have news of a brand new way to get around SmallWorlds. Today I was at my desk working when I was interrupted by a very excited Dan SmallWorlds. "Check out my awesome new speed machine!" he cried. When I turned, I saw he had an enormous smile on his face and was riding what was indeed an amazing-looking vehicle.

This American Hot Rod Scooter is a Rare item, and it really has been built for speed as well as beauty. Riding it will boost your speed by +30, and I've been assured by Dan that being seen on one will boost your coolness rating by an even larger amount!

I confess I am usually a person who puts comfort and reliability at the top of my list when choosing a new mode of transport, and speed is a lower priority for me. However, the good looks of this new scooter won me over at once, and after Dan had challenged me to race, I was hooked.

Although I wasn't able to win any races against Dan, the feel of the ground rushing past underneath me as I raced along was so exhilarating, I was reluctant to stop even when I'd reached the finish line!

Warning: Excessive Speed May Be Dangerous

I am very conscious of staying safe, which is why I was so pleased to find my new Hot Rod Scooter has a working headlight.  I'm able to see the road ahead even in the darkest of spaces.  Still, I feel I must ask all SmallWorlds citizens to please be careful and responsible when riding this rather fast scooter, and to consider wearing a helmet for added safety.

Also, please be aware than while the scooter is in motion, flames shoot from its exhausts.  I would simply hate for any unaware citizen to suffer a burn from touching hot exhaust pipes.

I hope the sheer fun of riding the Hot Rod Scooter does not result in caution being thrown completely to the wind, but if you take the proper care, I'm sure you'll enjoy riding it as much as I do.
