Anna Waters
Winner 1 - The Outfit from the Bottom of the Wardrobe!
Anna darling, this entry was truly dragged up from somewhere very deep and dark in your wardrobe!
I wondered if the brown on the front of your shirt was in fact some mold that had possibly grown on your yellow top, and I felt you were oh-so-brave to even put it on at all! [mwah] to you, Coco x
Jabs Girl

Winner 2 - The Outfit from the Bottom of the Wardrobe
Jabs sweetie, the thing that really grabbed me and simply wouldn't let me go was the green tights in combination with the yellow shows. Part of me wanted to go and help you bury it back down in your wardrobe again, and part of me just loved it! I'm still not sure which I feel more strongly darling - a [mwah] to you also!

Do you need help from our resident virtualista? Coco would love to hear from you! Please email your style issues to Coco: coco.smallworlds@smallworlds.com. Coco regrets that due to the volume of mail recieved, not all questions can be published and she is unable to give personal replies.
Dear Coco: I've just started dating a girl who dresses really differently to me and I've stated feeling really uptight on our dates as I'm always worried about what to wear. I'm a bit more conservative than her. Should I try and match her style? Shy Dresser
Dear Shy Dresser, Sometimes our fears of something can feel so big...and the only way to see if the fear has any basis in reality is to check them out with the person concerned. Talk to her and remember that finding the courage to speak our fears is a true strength darling. I adore that you have different styles to one another - the world would be truly boring if we all looked the same! [mwah] Coco x

Fall Fashion Forecasting!
Hello sweet peas - with Fall just around the corner for many of you, I thought I'd put my ear to the ground and ask my many style contacts around the world for some advance notice on Fall Fashions for you. If you've been wanting to gear your Fall wardrobe to looking totally fantastic, you'll love these advance tips! Of course, trends fade and the most important thing always is to feel good about what you're wearing above all else. But, if you are at all interested in the fascinating world of fashion forecasting, here is some of what's in store for Fall 2010! [Mwah] Coco x
Mmmmm.... Minimalist
This Fall we will see a moving away from the loud, conflicting, mixed and bold patterns of spring 2010 and into much more sophisticated looks. Yes sweeties, it's a re-emergence of minimalist fashions, but its far from boring! Think different textures in the same color.. time to get creative!
Soft and Plush - Go Velvet!
Darlings, Velvet, yes gorgeous lush velvet, is the fabric for Fall 2010. Try forest green, burgundy, and deep blues. Perhaps a little velvet peeking out from a minimalist look; adding a fabulous texture and making us feel really rather plush!
Black - it just never goes away!
Yes darlings, Black is the new black, again! This Fall is going to be all about noir. You can really make it zing through your creative use of velvet and metallic fabrics.
Find Beauty in the Details
Use gorgeous shiny bit and pieces; find beauty in the details. Those small ornaments or jewels can make any piece shine in an unmistakably gorgeous but subtle way. Think brooches, buttons... you know what to do!

Draping & Sheerness
Fall fashion is about details, and draping is just one more creative way to take something simple and create a masterpiece darlings! Try basic fabrics sewn in multiple layers that reveal subtle peek-a-boo areas! Sheer is back, but not over the top darlings - layer them with tanks over and under and top with a a blazer.
Paint it Metal
Oh yes we'll be seeing dresses, pants and skirts in a range of metallic fabrics. These pieces will appear as though they were applied in liquid form! To make this look work - go basic with the rest of the outfit so that you can let your metallic piece shine!SmallWorlds Style Icon Competition - Two Fall Fashion Looks
This week I'd like to congratulate my 2 winners Anna Waters and Jabs Girl who dragged up some very very interesting looks from the bottom of their wardrobes - I'm not quite sure what to say sweeties - "gorgeous darlings" seems just inappropriate! Do enjoy spending your Gold!
Now since I've been writing about fashion forecasting above, I thought I'd ask you to do a little forecasting of your own... what do you think will be two different looks for SmallWorlds this fall - show me two different looks for SW Fall style and enter your looks into win one of two prizes of 2000 Gold!
